We're excited to introduce our latest product update, designed to revolutionize how you search for parcels and related assets. With this update, you can now effortlessly search for parcels around substations, lines, or other parcels on your project – and even create complex combinations of search criteria. Whether you're looking for parcels near specific objects or a blend of multiple attributes, this update has you covered.

Simpler and more flexible parcel searches

You can now search for parcels around any substations, lines, or other parcels on a project – and any combination.

Search for parcels around single object type OR multiple 

e.g., find parcels within 0.25 miles of saved lines but ALSO within 1 mile of saved substations. Learn More

(Coming soon) No more primary assets!

In the future, all projects will have three standard tabs: parcels, substations, and power lines. Stay tuned for more details!

Select multiple parcels/area

Directly select an area on the Parcels layer and save parcels to the project map. 

New parcel attributes available

Check out these new parcel attributes! They will be available (if tracked) for parcels pulled in from today onward.

  • Section_township_range: Hyphenated Section, Township, and Range from Public Land Survey System (PLSS)

  • Land_cover: Types and amounts of land cover on the property (from National Land Cover Database (NLCD))

  • Crop_cover: Types and amounts of crop cover on the property (from USDA Cropland Data Layer (CDL))

New Nationwide Layers 

  • High Poverty Census Tracts (EDA)

  • Low Income Communities (48e) (DOE/NREL)

  • Slope Shading - 3D (>20% slope) (USGS)
