AO Capacity accelerates solar project planning with grid capacity data on a GIS platform, providing “instant injection studies.” It simplifies identifying optimal Substations and Transmission Lines by offering real-time insights into grid capacity and allocated costs. Developers can quickly assess project feasibility and financial viability with features like automatic updates and intuitive heat maps. This tool is crucial for efficient site selection, speeding up project timelines, and cutting costs, making it essential for successful solar development.
Distribution Grid Data Add-On
DG Mapping is a premium dataset that we have created that maps the distribution grid topology. In most of the country this data is not publicly available, so we can provide this so users can find sites nearby sub-69 kV lines and subs for DG projects. We use machine learning and image recognition to scan satellite imagery to map the grid.
Premium Flood Data Add-On
Anderson Optimization expands data layer catalog and Buildable Area Analysis feature to offer Premium Flood Data from First Street Foundation. This will provide users with enhanced flood data relative to public FEMA data with additional settings to analyze flood water depth. The premium feature includes access to new layers which highlight presentday and future flood risk.
