Release Notes: Simplified Views & Advanced Distance Calculations

The new and improved project tabs are designed to provide a consistent and scalable experience as your projects grow and evolve. With the simplification of tabs, you'll be able to navigate through your projects with ease. Don't miss these exciting updates - check out the details below!

Simplified Asset Tabs on Projects

We've made some updates to ensure consistency in how assets are treated within your project. Now, the initial asset(s) added during the initial project creation won't be singled out and labeled as primary; instead, all assets of the same type will receive equal treatment…

  • For on-site analysis projects, there is now one tab with all parcel data (consolidated primary land and parcels into one section).

  • All projects now have three consistent sections: Parcels, Power Lines, and Substations)

Easily See a Parcel’s Distance from the Nearest Substation or Power Line

With this update, we’ve added some new fields to our data. You can see what other features are closest for all parcels, power lines, and substations! For example, you can now see a parcel’s distance from the nearest substation or nearest power line (substations or lines must be saved on the project to generate calculations). Distance calculations are automatically computed even for much larger project sizes.

As we continue to enhance our platform, we're excited to bring these updates to you, streamlining your workflow and providing more intuitive ways to manage and analyze your projects. The simplification of project views and the addition of detailed distance calculations are designed to make your experience more seamless and efficient. Whether you're consolidating data on a large scale or needing precise distance metrics for planning, our latest software update is tailored to support your goals.

We encourage you to explore these new features and see how they can improve your project management and analysis. As always, we're here to support you every step of the way. We look forward to bringing you even more enhancements in the future.
